Lending a Paw

One of the founding missions of The Dirty Doodle is to help homeless animals find their loving forever home. Beyond adopting our own beloved rescue animals, to further this mission we have networked with several local animal rescue groups to offer our assistance in support of their important and oftentimes difficult work.

We have hosted several wash-a-thon fundraisers for local rescue organizations in order to raise funds to support their amazing work. We have organized and hosted fundraisers for wonderful groups, including Lilly the Hero Pit Bull, Sweet Paws Rescue, Soi Dog Foundation and Big Fluffy Dog Rescue. Though we are a dog store, we are also a dedicated member of our local community and also hosted a fundraiser for The Stoneham Marathon Victims Fund in order to help bring together local dog owners to show their support for the victims and families of the Boston Marathon Bombing.

We are proud to be collaborating with Sweet Paws Rescue, an outstanding foster network that transports needy dogs from the south to loving forever homes in Massachusetts. Amongst many other events and initiatives, The Dirty Doodle hosts showcase days where interested animal lovers can see first-hand the many loving dogs just waiting to enrich their lives and homes.

We are also excited to be working with Soi Dog Foundation, an incredible organization that rescues dogs caught up in the illegal dog meat trade of Thailand. We currently carry their all natural dog treats, handmade key chains and collar charms with 100% proceeds going to support their work and host a wash-a-thon every fall. Watch our Facebook, Twitter and home pages for details on these exciting and important events!
